Cutting it fine!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Croydon.
- Saturday, 13th of April 2019
On a Saturday that seemed to be trying to show off all its weather options, two runners met to work on clearing Mrs S's flowerbeds and mowing the lawn so that Mrs S could plant some flowers and enjoy her garden more.
Martin started by helping to set up Mrs S's new lawnmower and then set off cutting the grass. He even managed to get a stripe mown in - impressive! Once he'd sorted that, he cut back some of the large plants at the back of the garden and raked up the fallen leaves.
Meanwhile, Ellie started clearing weeds from the flowerbed on the left and turning over the soil so that it was ready for Mrs S to plant in. She also cleared the path of the overgrown grass and weeds to make it easier for Mrs S to use.
Overall, Mrs S was thrilled with what we managed to clear and it felt like a great job done. Well done to Martin for completing your first Mission!
