Daylight Savings Challenge ⏰
6 GoodGymers made their way 3.7km on a training session in Barnsley.
- Friday, 27th of March 2020
- Led by Rachael (GoodGym Barnsley)
6 members of GoodGym Barnsley accepted the Daylight Savings fitness challenge.
The challenge: run as many miles as possible the weekend the clocks changed - with one hour less to get it done! ⏳
Our keen GG'ers accepted the challenge and got to work almost straight away, with lots of km's completed within the first few hours of the challenge being set.
A special mention to runner Clair, who ran 5km in her garden due to self-isolation. This achievement feels even more impressive than a run outside! 👏 A mention for Grace as well who has been dealing with an ongoing injury and got a good 5.53km in. We enjoyed sharing our running achievements, photos and stories on the WhatsApp group.
In the end, it was member Sharon who won the challenge as she logged an impressive 10.88km in 1 hr 19 minutes. Well done Sharon! 🏅🎉
Final results:
- Sharon: 10.99km: 1hr 19m
- Grace: 5.53km: 41m
- Mairead: 5.34km: 35m
- Hannah: 5.km: 34m
- Clair: 5km: 37m
- Rachael: 3.73km: 27m
Well done everyone for taking part in the first challenge 💪
