On a Sunday sunny morning, 5 Goodgymers walked, cycled and ran to the Batheaston scout hut.
Helen collected a key from the Task Owner's house, and then met the team at the hut.
We wore our masks and entered the building. The paint, ladders and brushes were laid on the floor in anticipation.
To ensure social distancing. Rob and Max took one side of the hall starting at opposite ends, whilst Helen and Maryam started on the other side of the hall at opposite ends to one another.
Cosmo made a start in the hallway.
We had just two hours to do two long walls and the hallway. We painted to the sound of Kiss history playing on Helen's phone.
Two hours had finished and we had completed the main hall and almost all the hallway. We ran into overtime but the team stayed on to clean up the brushes and ensure all paint splatters were cleaned up.
A job well done. Before and after pictures are shown.
