Woking & Sam Beare Hospice Delivering Leaflets

This evening Wayne, Anne, Katie, Kirsty, & Nadia met at Goldsworth Park Lake to do a leaflet drop for Sam Beare Hospice to local residents about the up & coming dragon boat race which is coming up on the lake ⛵

Kirsty & Katie ran from Knaphill, while Anne ran from WWF. Nadia also ran from Horsell.

The task was to deliver leaflets on certain roads around the lake. We hit the first road split up into two teams and hit the letter boxes. Going into the roads around the lake is like a maze with little ally ways and twist and turns around every corner we lost Katie a few times 😂. within 40 mins we had had done the 4 roads that we had on our list.

As we had time we thought we would do a quick loop around the lake. It was a lovely busy evening around the lake. First half of the lake Nadia pealed off and headed home. As we got half way round Anne & Katie pealed off and headed home along the canal. Wayne & Kirsty continued all the way around. Kirsty decided to do a sprint finish to the car off she went at full speed but ended up running to the wrong car....😂 but it was an impressive finish 🏃🏾‍♂️💨

Next week we are at the foodbank on the Thursday.

Anne will be putting on a hill training session for the Wednesday keep an eye out.
