Tonight we spent the evening at our glorious Queens Park! Karen, Maurice and Nicola headed out for a litter pick and a bit of squirrel whispering!

The park was looking beautiful tonight and it was quieter than usual, presumably courtesy of the imminent England v Netherlands Euros 2024 match (which we won 2 - 1 by the way - sorry Maurice!).

There wasn’t too much litter around the park tonight, I know the Friends of Queens Park do an incredible job of keeping on top of the litter in the park but we did manage to find plenty on the outside perimeter and our bags were pretty full by the time we finished!

Our night wouldn’t have been half as enjoyable without interactions from the squirrels and pigeons who enjoyed our stash of nuts!! At one point, Maurice looked like Dr Doolittle as he was surrounded by pigeons and squirrels!

As always, it was a lovely evening spent with lovely company, doing good stuff in our community.

Well done everyone! Amazing as always!

Have a great week.

Lots of love Nicola xxx
