Its getting chilly........... With half term upon us and with a few members having done some big runs over the weekend we were down a few of the gang, but thats never stop the Bexley Dream Team before, and we weren't going to let it stop us last night.
We had a mix ability of runners so we decided to walk / run our way out to Welling. This worked really well as we were able to have a great chat about our weekends along the way. On arrival at the Greenwich and Bexley Hospice shop we were greeted by Lorraine, her great smile and a lovely glass of water. Tonights task was all about the tidy up. We headed into the children's department with dusters and polish and gave it the Goodgym magic. Dusters were a blazing, polish was in full motion. It was pure magic if i say so myself...........
IT WAS PURE MAGIC IF I SAY SO MYSELF
With just a few of us this evening the task took us all the way through with no time to spare, oh, except for our group photy of course. With just enough time left to battle our way out the latex gloves we were soon saying our good byes and jogging back home along Welling High Street with a real sense of achievement and satisfaction.
Well done guys, another great deed done for an awesome cause. Lets keep Bexley awesome.
