Happy Easter Sack-A-Day
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hounslow.
- Saturday, 31st of March 2018
We ran to help Mr W sort out some bits and bobs in his kitchen which had accumulated into a huge pile. We sifted through all kinds of memorabilia - including a 1985 Guinness Book of Records, a real life 1980s ghetto blaster and a gleaming new pair of shoes that had been purchased in 2006.
The charming Mr W is profoundly deaf and gave us lessons in sign language - we learned to say 'thank you' and 'pleased to meet you' in sign. Mr W was delighted that we removed around six sacks of rubbish from his kitchen. It definitely was a happy Sack-a-day for Mr W.
