Fanplastic Picking: rubbish washed up on our Thames Riverside
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Tower Hamlets.

Since the start of lockdown 2.0, I had picked up a new habit: litter pick.
Following the ease of lockdown 3.0, I have turned the focus on our riverside. The amount of rubbish being washed up is shocking.
Hot pick of the day: 1. Plastic straw /lollipop stick 2. Plastic bottle top 3. Plastic tampon applicator /lighter /syringe
There were so many straws and lollipop stick. On one single spot, I was picking till my hand got too sore...
Together. We can change the world. One baby step at a time. Join me next time, will you?
P. S. I had collected such a big bag of plastic (forgot to take a pic) that I was gracefully to meet a local resident who offered to take it to the bin (isn't it fantastic?) P. P. S. Most of the plastic is too hard and can't be recycled.
