Fartlek Fun and Disco Lights
10 GoodGymers made their way 5.0km to help their local community in Tower Hamlets.

This week our task was cancelled so a group of 10 GoodGym runners met up at the Town Hall Hotel to head out for a run around the borough. We started of with 15 minutes of core and glute activation before the run - aim to get our posture right to improve our running efficiency and reduce the likelihood of injury.
We then headed out on a 5-6km 'fartlek' run around Tower Hamlets. Essentially this mean running as a group but including a series of different faster bursts covering between 10 seconds and 3 minutes. It was a great, relaxed way to add some speed work into a run in a manageable way. On the way back we looped via Victoria Park to do some running amongst the disco lights of the Adidas Boost X installation there.
We then headed back to the hotel to complete 15 minutes of stretching.
