Fishing for Sardines, hunting for Chicken.

At the bottom of today's list for Mr T, and written very clearly, was "Tesco Chicken Soup x 2". Past experience has told me Mr T is pretty particular about his soup choices, and in this case it's Tesco or nothing. However, Tesco let us down with no own brand soups to be found anywhere - I hoped this wasn't a foretaste of today's shop...

Fortunately Lidl came good on everything else (including their "famous" full length chicken legs), except strangely sardines in sunflower oil where the shelves were bare. Determined not to let Mr T down on two items, I retraced my steps back to Tesco, where they at least had sardines on the shelves, and with this the list was complete - hopefully Mr T's cheery soul can survive a week without the chicken soup...
