Forget-me-LOTS
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.

I forgot to take any photos, including one of the receipt for today's shopping; what a numpty! However, I'm excusing myself because by doing the shopping more locally to me then walking it over to Mr A before running home, I managed to get him everything on his list this time! Wahoo!! I actually did a little 'whoop' in Sainsbury's when I managed to get tangerines AND a full roast dinner. The red GoodGym jersey of joy just keeps on giving :)
This (below) was my favourite from The Book of Flower Fairies many many years ago and I still try to grow them most years to help keep the memories alive of loved ones lost. Last year most of the stems were quickly taken from my balcony by the goldfinches nesting near by, but all is forgiven for the tiny flash of bright yellow and red outside the window. Did you know, the collective noun for a group of goldfinches is a 'charm', whereas a group of crows is known as a 'murder', and a group of owls as a 'Parliament'. I didn't.
The Forget-me-not Fairy
So small, so blue, in grassy places My flowers raise Their tiny faces.
By streams my bigger sisters grow, And smile in gardens, In a row.
I’ve never seen a garden plot; But though I’m small Forget me not!
