Full STEAM ahead... The Vaccines role out continues
5 GoodGymers made their way to help the Swindon Borough Council in Swindon.

If You Wanna hear what we got up to this week... well it was another week in lockdown, but with some great progress. Approximately 2000 people are being vaccinated per day at the STEAM museum in Swindon, which has been transformed into a Covid-19 vaccination centre. And vaccinating that many people calls for lots of volunteers to keep everything running smoothly.
We weren't the ones All In White, but GoodGymmers were needed for a range of roles, including car parking marshalls, patient coordinators, and meet-and-greeters. Throughout the week Gaby, Jason, Kirsty, Mike and Stuart all helped out. Armed with his-vis jackets and bottles of hand sanitiser we kept going through zero degree temperatures. I Always Knew it would would be worth it to see the smiling faces and excitement of those getting their vaccines. No one could be in a Bad Mood -they'll be back in the Nightclub in no time!
GoodGym will be helping out with the vaccination effort regularly in the coming months, so there's plenty of opportunities to get involved. Keep an eye out for more of these community missions!
