Getting to the roots of the problem
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Sheffield.
- Saturday, 2nd of December 2017
Here's what Mrs J of S12 had to say about the mission:
They were fantastic, they were pleasant, sociable and polite and they did a right good job. They asked if they could do anything else but they had done so much work at the front I couldn't ask then to do the back as well. It would be lovely if they could come back and see me again.
3 GoodGymers visited Mrs S to help de-weed her front garden borders and dig up her buddleia.
Super Steve (prepared with Goodgym themed hand tools which came in handy!) got to work on digging up Mrs S' buddlei, with Distance Daniel (park run and running to the mission - awesome!) and Keen Kat on de-weeding border patrol. Together we dug up and bagged up 4 bags of weeds.
We ended our mission with our lovely host Mrs S who made us cups of tea and offered us a great choccy treat selection. Kat and Stephen chose awesome classic tunnocks caramel wafers and Daniel went for part 1 of the KitKat challenge. :)
