Arriving slightly late, Sam met Mark and Chiara who were at BFC already and just finishing off on stocking up all the delivery from Felix project.
Brian, who is the coordinator at BFC, assigned Sam as team lead for the next task as Sam realised it was Mark first time and Chiara was fairly new too. The main task that occupied us for the whole session was to bag and label steak pies, sausage rolls and beef / onion slices for the freezer as there were boxes of them in the fridge with this weekend's date on it.
We assembled a production line as Mark bagged the pies, slices and rolls whilst Sam tied them up and Chiara labelling them. In between breaks, Sam would take the bagged up goods to the freezer in boxes.
To pass the time, the volunteers got to know one another whilst listening to Taylor Swift's 1989 album.
