Going for Gold

Gwyn and Tracey cycled to Derbyshire's County Cricket Ground to join in the Olympic-themed Monday Mates session.

Once behind the wire fencing, we were given a weightlifting challenge, getting everyone onto the second floor without climbing the stairs, when the lift was out of order!

Once everyone was upstairs, they began breaking into the biscuits, diving into the wordsearches, and attempting the quiz.

We divided into two teams (it turned out that ten is a good number to have on each side) for a relay version of handball, passing balls up and down each team.

We ended off with a bit of freestyle singing and dancing, which all went swimmingly.
