Tonight in Kentish Town we were served a menu of three tasksโ€ฆ Bloodied lightbulbs as an entrรฉe, followed by a mattress; and bags of weeds to finish. Yum!

Task #1 โ€“ Change two sets of lightbulbs.

The halogen light fittings in the kitchen looked straightforward, but they were fiddly enough that Jenny lacerated her finger on the first set. Whilst she stemmed the bleeding, I approached the second set bracing in anticipation of the same fate, but luckily was spared.

Task #2 - Turn the mattress.

The bold and friendly cat had come in to the kitchen to eat by now, so we left her in peace and left to turn the mattress next door.

Task #3 - Put the garden waste bags out to be cleared.

Full-up herself, the cat lead the way out to the back garden for our dessert. Our host had been tackling the weeds, so there were a few filled garden waste bags scattered about that we gathered-up and brought out to the front for collection.
