20 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Newham.
- Friday, 13th of November 2020
- Led by Brahma Pochee
As the dark evening drew in the combined might of London Goodgymer’s heard the Crisis call to arms and donned the Red Shirts of power ,(unless you forgot your shirt like me )
We welcomed Sophie on her first Goodgym run
Meeting with Richard the teams came together to listen to the brief discription of the multitude of help that crisis carry out at the festive period,
Breaking out into teams paired to tasks today’s tasks
Sorting clothes in sizes and function ready to be distributed to their clients.
Building picnic tables for the volunteers to take their lunch breaks on.
Assembling a sofa bed settee that’s used by the office team when required to sleep over.
The help that Goodgym are doing at Crisis is ensuring that the distribution hub will be up and running in time to help those who require assistance.
As Richard tells us without our assistance he couldn’t get these tasks done so take a bow team !
Great work to all involved hope to see you all again soon
