This evening seven intrepid GoodGymmers ran and cycled to Millenium Fields to make more progress inverting soil with St Nicks, following our recent group run.
While the evening itself was warmer than last week, the ground was harder - there was some shocking chat about throwing in the towel and going straight to the pub (shocking insofar as it wasn't coming from me 😂), but we decided to give it a try. With methods such as leaping with all one's weight onto the thingybit of the spade or the 'balancing on the thingbit of the spade and seeing if anything happened', combined with some good old fashioned elbow grease, we made some headway. We completed some overlooked patches from last week, then made our way to the Winning Post.
We'll be back in February to flip more soil!
Report credit to Paul (possibly alluding to my being a bit of a space cadet at the pub 😅)
