Hanging out at the Baby Bank
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the The Baby Bank - Windsor, Maidenhead and surrounding areas in Windsor and Maidenhead.
- Tuesday, 30th of March 2021
- Led by Jess Smith
Ruth and Jess spent a sunny morning at the Baby Bank.
The first task was to hang a batch of about ~70 new coats which had been delivered. They were ex-stock and cost the Baby Bank a whopping £.150 each! They were all brand new and helpfully had hangers and size stickers attached making the job a lot easier.
After they had blizted the coats Ruth and Jess sorted a bag of donated clothes. They had to check each item for any damage / marks / over use to ensure they were suitable to be given to referred families. There were a lot of oooohs and ahhhhs as each item was checked, and they learned that 'Peppa loves Unicorns!' - who knew!!
As usual the Baby Bank was busy with referrals being picked up and donations being dropped off, so if anyone would like to help out on future GoodGym missions at this charity check out the listings for Windsor and Maidenhead!
