FIVE (well, four and a half) GG Yorkies ran to The Sleeper Path Community Garden and Allotment in New Earswick to clear out scrap metal.
Sheets of old, rusted corrugated iron, posts of all shapes and sizes, old wheelbarrows and racks. It all awaited us at the Community Garden, which is looked after by New Earswick Sharing Together (NEST).
Four of us arrived and created a strategy to move it all over the fence before carrying/dragging/lugging it all down the lane to the skip.
What a team - so organised and all done so cheerfully! It would have taken us a long time to do what you all did - Celia - New Earswick Sharing Together
Sean was running late and managed to get to us just after all the hard graft but we did give him the heaviest pole to carry at the end, and we got him to do squats too.
This was Leanne's 15th good deed, such great work! Melissa and Lizzie have both got their 10 badges too, give 'em all a cheer!
