Hoops we did it again!
9 GoodGymers made their way 5.0km to help the The Canal and River Trust in Birmingham.
- Tuesday, 31st of August 2021
- Led by Jonny Carter
Tonight's task was cancelled so we were back on the canal loaded with bags, gloves, litter picks and of course hoops, hence this week's Britney inspired pun!
Melanie, Amy and Nadia walked to the task, so the runners gave them a head start before joining forces on the canal. We picked a fair bit of litter, 4 bags in total before heading together to Aston Lock to leave them for the Canal and River Trust.
The walking group headed back while the runners took on 4 x 1 minute interval efforts with 30 secs recovery. Everyone pushing hard was great to see especially with those pesky hills in it! Who said canals were flat!
Once done it was back to 1000 Trades. Thanks to Miriam for taking the photos and everyone coming along, you all did a fantastic job :)
