I streamed a stream of shows gone by

This morning I met up with Ms I to help guide her through some activities on her laptop.

Although I was primarily supposed to help Ms I with Zoom/Skype, Ms I was far more interested in learning about streaming services. We talked through what they were, the difference between free and subscription-based services, and I set Ms I up with some instructions for practising with iPlayer to finish up with. I also stressed the importance of using different passwords for different accounts. [I am particularly proud of myself for not confusing any of the above explanation by mentioning Netflix and chill 😎]

With a small nod to the original task, I set up a zoom account for Ms I, and investigated a potential problem with her mobile phone (she needs a new SIM card), before having a short chat with Ms I over tea and lemon cake 😋
