If you go down to the woods today......
2 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Newham.
- Sunday, 2nd of August 2020

Noticed this mission thanks to the power of twitter.
A nice gentle 2 mile run for me and a 4 mile cycle for Rosa
We met our fellow pickers at The Temple once all paper work completed, picker deposit paid, team photo and information from The Friends of Wanstead Parklands we headed off.
Rosa and I went via Chalet Wood towards the Glade. It looks like we missed the teddy bears picnic but we did see a unicorn.
We headed down the Glade towards the Ornamental Waters passing several families enjoying the sunshine.
Full bags dropped off before we headed to Chalet Wood to complete our section to litter pick and even managed to spot a toad stool but sadly the fairies seemed to be out.
Chalet Wood is a carpet of bluebells in the Spring.
I stopped of at the cafe for a latte and bread pudding.....
