In the cycle lane
9 GoodGymers made their way 4km to help their local community in Liverpool.

The task tonight was to clear up a very littered cycle lane to make it safe for cyclist to use.
4 runners met on hope street and ran the 2km to the top of Kingsley street where we had heard the litter was so bad it was obstructing the cycle lane! We met 5 other good gymmers there and got to work.
Special mention goes to Steph who has now completed five good gym tasks! We hope to see you for many more in the future!
We meandered down the entire street, collecting a grand total of 10 bags full of litter! Favourite finds include learner plates, a jigsaw piece and a tape measure!
It was a shame to see the cycle lane in such bad condition, with barriers knocked and reflective bars missing and/or broken, but we left safe in the knowledge that it was clear of litter and much safer for cyclist to use.
Well done everyone and a big thanks to litter clear volunteer, who alerted us to the issue and Liverpool Street Scene who collected in the bags for us!
