Stef and I attended the Refugee Action York volunteers’ meeting to tell service users and volunteers about the work we do and to encourage them to come along to our group runs on Monday evenings. At least six service users took our contact details and meet up details so we can hope to see some at future group runs. One of the RAY volunteers led two sessions of ‘chair exercise’ which had echoes of Pilates, and Stef and I joined in too. It was good fun and we were all asked to contribute an exercise and inevitably lunges made their appearance! Shades of GG! In the absence of leaflets we shared a number of photos of our recent diverse range of community tasks which were a great help.
