It's a Trough-Off!
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the Braywick Heath Nurseries in Windsor and Maidenhead.

Rachel, Juli, Laura and Sheila met at Braywick Heath Nurseries for some fun playing with plants. Laura took on the task of planting upbplugs of cyclamen plants into modules ready for the autumn. For the rest of us, our first task was to make the fuchsias in hanging baskets look a bit better by removing old flower stalks and dead leaves - they looked much improved when we hung them out in the sales area again. We then worked our way down the glasshouse, deadheading all the plants and removing any that were unsaleable. For our final task, Nikki asked us to plant up a trough with whatever we fancied to go on sale. She also had one to plant up herself, so we had ourselves a trough-off! After much deliberation, discussion and experimentation our flower trough was born! We were quite pleased with the result, and it remains to be seen whether Nikki's or ours will sell first!
