Ealing

Mission

It's BEAN a success

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.

Ms R not only tends to her own garden at the back of her flat but she’s also partial to a spot of guerilla gardening in the communal area in the middle of her estate (all legit of course).

This was my task for the day, to weed and then sow beans and peas in that patch. I even got cheered on and clapped by neighbours watching me from the balcony which was a novel experience. Ms R was very pleased with the result and she gave me some cuttings of her peppermint plant which hopefully will flourish in my own garden. Sadly my own neighbours don't see the need to encourage my garden work by clapping and cheering!
