IT'S GOAT TO BE BE GOOD GYM
6 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Sheffield.
- Sunday, 3rd of March 2019
- Led by Andrew Waters
We may have had the return of Winter weather after last weekend's heatwave but nevertheless 6 intrepid GG runners turned up to our monthly Alexandra Road Gardens mission.
We were divided into three groups - Team One (Bee, Kylee & Helen) weeding & tidying in the Garden; Team Two (Daiana & Andrew) litter picking for Heeley City Farm who'd asked for some help; and Team Three (Caroline) acting as sweeper and general twig clearer.
Despite the drizzle we achieved 3 large bags of litter and a great looking garden - plus a trip to the City Farm who'd just had a delivery of 500 battery hens that they were re-homing to proper homes.
