The following leaf puns were picked for their hilarious quali- tree 🤪
Our 3rd GoodGym Windsor Thursday evening sessions continue turning over a new leaf, It took us to Clewer Parish Hall. Where we were leafing life to the fullest!
This was a change from Group Run to Community Mission so we kept our meeting point, had a quick warm up of our own choice and a chat to warm up our jaws ! Then we split into groups and had a social walk or run with more chatting along the long way round to the task a or made our way to the task directly.
At the hall we met up with the task owner Cllr Amy Tisi and some other volunteers from the hall itself for the briefing.
It’s was another chilly one but we didn’t stop be- leafing in ourselves and we took a rake - not a break and so began the task of leaf clearance and pruning. Sol branched out with her loppers while Jen, Helen , Devon, Caroline, Sheila and Mandy chose their tools sweeping, chopping, scooping, gathering sticks, raking and generally leafing 🍁🍂 a good impression.
Lost count of the bags we filled and the sticks we collected and piled ready for shredding/green recycling.
The chill was starting to kick 🥶in so we tidied up, it’s the leaf we could do and made our way home for a warm up!
Photos taken by Mandy except the Selfie which was Devon as he has longer arms 🤣
