Lambs, ewes and vegetables
2 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Greenwich.
- Monday, 19th of April 2021
- Led by Rachel Henry
Martin and I along with 3 non Goodgym volunteers went to work creating raised beds using London green compost (generated from London’s composed waste). We shovelled the compost into our own wheelbarrows and helped to create rows of beds that will be used to grow and sell organic fruit & vegetables. This is a very physical task but very rewarding and helped we had lovely weather and could watch the ewes all waiting to deliver their lambs .
