Last Man Sanding!
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the Hilsea Lido in Portsmouth.
- Saturday, 26th of September 2020
- Led by Jen Stoneham
We had a double celebration at the Lido today! First of all we wished Jo a happy birthday with some delicious brownies courtesy of Dr Jo. Jen also scored her 100th Good Deed this week and donned the glamorous wings for the duration of today's task.
Our main task was to prepare a large wall for painting next week. Armed with scrapers and sanding blocks we made quick work and finished half way through our session.
After a quick tea and brownie wake we swept up an endless stream of leaves to help tidy up the environs.
As usual the team at The Lido were so grateful for our help, so thank you all!
