1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Westminster.

Open Age's Chelsea Community Centre is preparing to reopen post lockdown and they need to make sure everything is clean and covid secure before they start hosting classes for their vulnerable elderly clientele. The open age members have been staying connected through online lessons in languages and technology but they are really missing their fitness classes which are much more tricky to do from home without the normal kit. So our task for the evening was to clean as much gym equipment as we could find, and we found quite a lot! Mats, foam blocks, weights and bent poles were all sprayed and wiped, left to dry (put into patterns for photos) and restocked back in the kit cupboard all ready to be used as soon as the centre is up and running again.
