Today's task was to to spruce up the outside areas at Southsea Medical Center. Paul's concept was that it would be a nice way to say thank you to all the hard working staff running the vaccination clinics and provide a welcoming environment to all the patients.

We started with a quick tidy up around the car park area with John performing a litter pick of all the non-organic waste. Meanwhile, Paul removed all the leaf litter that had collected around the car park perimeter. This was bagged up and will used to create leaf mold for Paul's allotment .

Paul began work trimming all the bushes at the front and entrance to the car park. John took on the task of removing all the weeds at the front of the building and started tidying up the side entrance to the clinic.

On such a cold day it was ironic that we only really felt cold when we stopped to have tea/coffee kindly supplied by the friendly clinic staff.

With another day scheduled to complete the task, we are hoping to leave the outside area ready to blossom in spring.
