THREE MUSKATEERS
Well done to our brave three Trafford Muskateers last night who braved the chilly weather to plant bulbs for the fab GORGEOUS GORSE HILL Project!
We met at St Matthews as per, chatted about our weeks and set off to run/walk to the task location where Ruth was waiting for us.
After we'd been briefed, we set about planting bulbs around the base of the big tree at the AVONDALE road site.
In Spring look out for our lovely flowers (daffodils, crocus to name a few) as you head into Manchester along Chester Road. Goodgym People Power got that done! :-)
It just goes to show when you put your mind to something, you can get all sorts done!
Whilst we were dibbing away, we chatted about how Jo[https://www.goodgym.org/runners/joanne-harding] and Fiona[https://www.goodgym.org/runners/fiona-sheen] are the first Trafford runners to reach 10 good deeds which is amazing! This means they can now join the Trafford Taskforce and get involved in setting up community missions as well as with Group Runs. They are also getting closer to the coveted black t GG shirt (for 50 good deeds!!)
WELL DONE BOTH, PROUD TO HAVE YOU ON TEAM TRAFFORD!
We managed to plant the bulbs all round the tree and therefore completing our task and felt pretty darn pleased with ourselves too! After walk/running back to base we stretched off and again patted our new taskforce members on the back.
To celebrate we popped to the new Stretford FoodHall to sneak in some retail therapy and a tasty snack or two. Rude not to when it's a hop and a skip away!
Well done again to Jo and Fiona, really lovely to work with you to get us all out there and doing good in Trafford.
One for all and all for one!
