Can Do Bristol asked me to shop for S and her husband. As it wasn’t a GoodGym shop, I was given a much longer list than usual along with £60!
I headed to their local Lidl and walked round the store a number of times to try to get everything on the list. No staff were around to help, which I’ve come to rely on in other supermarkets, but I found most of it. There seemed to be a big shortage of any cabbages, so I’m hoping they can cope with Curly Kale. I was lucky that there were only a few people in front on me in the queue when I arrived (in the rain). By the time I left (having clocked up a lot of steps!) there were over 30 people in the sunshine. Shopping in the rain is much quicker!
When I dropped off the shopping (under £25!), S and her husband J said they both had prescriptions to collect, so I volunteered to get them, see part 2...
