Lido love!
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the Hilsea Lido in Portsmouth.

We continue to show our love and support for the Hilsea Lido with our weekly Saturday community mission.
This week new GoodGymer Lauren joined us and worked with Val to brush the loose rust off two metal grilled gates and to start to prime them, while Mel, Lucy and Duncan continued to clear the alleyway behind the buildings.
They filled six builders' bags of brambles and ivy, which Lucy & Duncan were able to carry to the compost area (as they don't have to socially distance!) while Mel continued to shovel cuttings into the empty bags, and unearthed an abandoned sock from the undergrowth.
I seemed to do a lot of chatting, taking photos and not doing a lot of work!
Addition from Katie: I received this email on Sunday from Paul at the Lido: Hi Katie, Here is a picture of your group on Saturday, I said I would pass it on. Please thank the group for all the work they did, it makes such a difference for the trust. Best wishes to you and your friends in Good Gym Portsmouth.
