Litter-ally gorgegous
8 GoodGymers made their way to help the Surfers Against Sewage in Bristol.

It was a beautiful and sunny Saturday morning when we joined forced with Mark from Surfers against Sewage to clean a patch of grassland on the banks of the Avon from rubbish. A lot of litter had been washed up on the patch, including many plastic bottles, cans and empty food wrappers but also some curiosities like tropical fruit and plastic toys.
We picked the litter in a perfectly social distanced manner and quickly filled all our bin bags. The more strenuous task was revealed to us when we realized we had to carry the full bags back to a spot at the start of the path, almost a kilometre from where we collected the rubbish. It was a long way but a real treat for our triceps. What a good way to get fit and also a good warm up for lifting heavy Christmas presents!
Great job everyone!
