Litter Picking for Dummies!
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the Southsea Beachwatch in Portsmouth.

We were extremely lucky with the weather this morning and miraculously the heavy rain became a light patter and eventually stopped. Walking West from the Coffee Cup, Rachel, Maxine, Rosina and Mel encountered very little litter apart from small pieces of plastic and sweet wrappers, a sock and a dummy, plus a couple of cans and other re-cycling items. We did find some beautiful and unusual shells and Rachel took an assortment home for her shell garden. We were able to get full details of Rosie's wedding and Scottish Honeymoon in a camper van which sounded amazing. Lots of hiking and discovering beautiful, remote and mainly empty sandy beaches. After working our way back to the Cafe, and receiving thanks for our efforts from walkers and runners along the Prom, Rachel treated us to a mint or orange club biscuit which was very welcome. Saying our goodbyes, off we went home.
