Living on the Hedge
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Windsor and Maidenhead.
- Tuesday, 16th of November 2021
- Led by Windsor and Maidenhead runner
Sheila went to help continue the fight to control and cut-back the hedgerow encroaching on the pavement in one of the busiest school pedestrian routes in Maidenhead. Started by a concerned parent, this has proved to be a mammoth task, cutting back the hedgerow, loading into dumpy bags, and transporting them down to the tip. We were joined by a local councillor and residents, including one who was on her morning walk, enquired what we were doing and decided to join us! We may need only one or two more sessions to complete the task - sign up for Monday's session here to join in the fun
