Bright and early on a Saturday morning 5 GoodGymers helped Friends of Nunhead Cemetery set up for Open Day.
Dharmesh and Katie arrived first at 8.30am and were put to work by Jeff. Lucy arrived at 9.30am and Rosanna and Anna came along after Peckham Rye parkrun (great work!).
Tasks were many and varied and included:
Putting up trestle tables
Moving A frames for signage
Moving chairs into and arranging them in the chapel for the choir (some of them from the crypt!)
Putting up signs to remind people to respect the horses
Phewf! By 10.40am we were out of tasks and waved our goodbyes. It looks set to be an amazing Open Day!
