Meersbrook Park Post-Firework Night Clean-Up

Meersbrook Park, Do you ever feel like a plastic bag... Drifting through the wind... Wanting to start again? With a few helpers.. on a Saturday... we'd helped start (clean up) Meersbrook Park again ... For other to enjoy and play safely in :) :)

GG Kat and Ash got to work this weekend with our litter pickers and bags. Memorable moments: - Bumping into friends on our way into the park, having a pre-litter pick chat - Seeing 2 young boys getting stuck in also litter picking, with 3 more members of their family team also getting involved. At one point there were 7 of us all picking up firework bits to clear up our lovely big Meersbrook Park hill, with a great view over the city :) - Being told later in the day that another one of our GG friends enjoyed a lovely walk in Meersbrook Park that afternoon (Post Kat and Ash + the family of 5 clean up) - It was nice making the space better for the public and our friends to enjoy
