Mind the Gap
2 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Derby.
- Tuesday, 26th of April 2022
- Led by Derby runner
Gwyn and Tracey joined other volunteers in a timetabled session conducted by Elvaston Castle and Gardens Trust.
Our group training activity was a 5 km return journey along the trail to the castle. Once we were stationed in the castle, our role was to mind the gaps between paving slabs to create a clear platform in the cottage garden inner courtyard.
Ben, the volunteer coordinator, was really chuffed with all the hard work that everyone had done. That's the ticket!
