Mission to Alt J's garden for the better
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Sheffield.
- Sunday, 19th of November 2017
Here's what Mr J of S6 had to say about the mission:
Very good, happy with what they managed to do.
There were some last minute changes to this morning's line up with "Calendar Clash Kim" and "Get Better Soon Suze" unable to make it, but "Super Standby Sarah" joined "Brilliant Bee" and "Streaking Steve" (steady, all will be made clear...) to help tidy up Mr J's garden.
Cutting grass, weeding paths and bagging rubbish was the order of the day and will all three of use busily working away we were done in no time. Mr J, who is also Bee's Coach, was delighted with the work and thanked us for out efforts.
To finish off we headed to a nearby park for a quick mile lap to notch up Steve's 50th consecutive day of running, I don't know what other type of streak you could have been thinking of! Sarah had joined in on day one after another successful mission and Bee was clearly inspired and decided to run home too! Till the next Sheffield GG mission, Cheers all.
