This misty Sunday morning 10 GoodGymmers braved the baltic weather to clear up the Wavertree Mystery!
We started off clearing up rubbish around the park paths and got some help from some little-ones from Junior Parkrun.
Jo then found a path around the perimeter of the park which was in desperate need of some TLC. Roz and Libby started tackling the litter while Jo went and found back-up in the form of Sam, Tim, Pauline, John and Eimear. Together we cleared the whole site of litter and got some lovely comments from dog-walkers on the huge difference we had made. We even found an old shopping basket and some newspapers that are older than some of our GoodGymmers: a paper from 1986 and a copy of The S * n from 1995!
Also big shoutout to Leanne from York who did a litter pick at Stanley Park (sorry about the mix-up)!
