Need Someone to Pick Litter on Castle Hill? It’s No Hassle GoodGym Will!
6 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Huddersfield.

There’s a bit less rubbish on Castle Hill following the efforts of GoodGym Huddersfield this evening. Six GoodGymmers spent an hour combing the hill to remove every discarded drinks can, crisp packet, beer bottle and cigarette butt they could find. Truth be told there wasn’t too much refuse to remove, as I suspect various other community minded people had been doing their bit too to keep our local landmark clean and tidy. But as they say every little bit helps and it was good to catch up with the GoodGymmers in our first Community Mission since lockdown.
Well done to Kati Law, Ben Godfrey, David Bilton, Catherine Gormley and Tom for turning out on a less than lovely evening weather wise. Particular go kudos to Kati, Ben, David and Tom for running to the task, involving a considerable climb up to the top of the hill. And the award for litter picker of the night goes to Tom who managed to extract what looked like half a car from the undergrowth!
Thanks guys....it’s good to be back to something approximating normal, looking forward to next week’s Community Mission already.
