No need for that umbrella...

On a beautiful sunny evening in Darley Park Pete, Naomi, Gwyn, Tracey and myself managed to fill two bin bags with litter we collected whilst having a catchup about returning to work, recent run events and parkrun.
Well done to Pete for making our chatty meetup returning from Bristol just in time....we didn't ask if he'd actively travelled his way back up to Derbyshire....impressive if he had!
Our useless find of the night was an umbrella Tracey found under a bench - possibly ditched as a result of not being needed due to the sunny weather but it was really near a bin so it was disappointing to see it had just been disguarded and not put in the bin. Tracey's useful find of the night was a clothing sizing label - she says they're almost indestructible and uses them to repair items like backpacks with holes.
Headtorches will be needed on future runs now it's darker a lot earlier and we're very grateful that some lights arrived today from goodgym headquarters :)
Great to see Naomi back in action - she was our professional photographer for the evening.
