Ode de Crumpet...
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.
- Wednesday, 10th of June 2020
Was good to shop for Mrs H again, list over the phone, then up to Morrisons in the rain.
Short queue, surprisingly quiet inside, "after you, no I insist", am determined to hunt down every item on her list.
Chicken wings, Weetabix, cucumber, sliced corned beef...even found the two avocados, that's a relief.
Down the hill, find cover here and there, but now it's really starting to pour, bags on the step, then it's a short knock on Mrs H's now familiar door.
We talk about the weather, she tells me I should have bought myself a snack. I tell her that I'm due to shop for her again next week, and leave saying "I'll be back".
