Mission

Oh-bergines

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.

Ms S had recently moved home into a brand new flat. There was even the smell of fresh paint that hit Sevan as he walked through the door and Ms S was still working on unpacking her belongings.

Sevan was helping with the shopping for Ms S' first GoodGym mission and she was well prepared with a shopping list, carrier bags and a make up bag turned money pouch. She needed a few essentials, some healthy snacks and ingredients to make curry.

Sevan ran down to the Morrisons in central Acton and easily found almost everything on the list. The budget, which Ms S was worried about, was fine too with the shopping coming in well under £30. The only problem was that there was an empty box where there should have been aubergines, an essential for Ms S' curry. Oh 😟

Not to worry, thought Sevan. There are convenience stores and grocers on the walk back to Ms S' home. Surely one of them will save the day. The first one Sevan came to, a Sainsbury's Local, had pretty small aubergine specimens. A small aubergine was better than no aubergine decided Sevan and completed Ms S's shopping list.
