One Man & His Mower!

It was just fab to spend another Wednesday evening with the lovely Karen, Nigel and Maurice as we did some gardening at the Wishing Well.

It was a lovely evening (although a little cooler than we've been enjoying of late), and we set to work with our tools to help get the garden looking a bit tidier. Maurice mowed the lawn (we wouldn’t dream of letting anyone else do that job now!), Nigel did some cutting back in the beds and Karen & Nicola did the weeding on the path. It was nice to chat as we worked. I particularly enjoyed doing the path with Karen as it made the job (which can be quite demoralising) much more enjoyable!

The highlight of the evening of course, was spending the last hour of the night at Hops Belgian Bar enjoying a drink and a few snacks. We chatted about all things Olympics, parkrun, pigeons and squirrels… You name it we covered it!

Well done everyone, another productive and enjoyable evening at the Wishing Well.
