Kash, Sevan and Sam made it to st. Faith's earlier as they finished up at the first GROAD session at Edward Alleynian Club earlier. However, they had to wait outside for awhile as they didn't have the keys to get in.
Once they were in, they worked well as a team to firstly clear the main room before getting the necessary tables to setup the room and finally, they took the donations and items from the porch and Shed 2 to display inside.
By this time, Maria, Richard and Mikhail had arrived along with the GROAD volunteers. The first two helped out inside with Richard focusing on hanging up the new clothes that were donated. Maria focused on household, toys and clothes - a bit of everything.
Mikhail helped Sam with the new donations - taking them in before storing them in shed 2 and afterwards, Mikhail used the time to flyer the local estates about the Open House on Mondays as we need to get more people to take these free items.
Thank you to everyone that came today. I know Kash and Sevan left around 14:30 as they needed to get to their mission in Camberwell and Richard and Mikhail could only do an hour, but every minute of help is better than no minutes at all! We are Open House ready!
